Samsung recently sent out its invitations for the Galaxy S10 launch and it looks like the company might have a few unexpected surprises for us.

According to a new leak from Samsung watcher Ice Universe, Samsung Galaxy S10+ will only be a hair thicker than the iPhone XS which measures at 7.7mm. Not only that, but Samsung will also increase the battery capacity of the S10 to 4,000 mAh, 50% bigger than the iPhone XS. The last Galaxy S9+ had a 3500 mAh battery.

Galaxy devices have always managed decent battery life but with 4,000 mAh, Galaxy S10+ will manage to out-perform most of the devices in the market. The improvements in battery capacity is only another example of how Samsung generally try and give consumers what they want, with other examples ranging from the headphone jack to lack of notches on screens.

Samsung is scheduled to launch the Galaxy S10+ in San Francisco on February 20th. The company will also be revealing two other variants with the Galaxy S10+ and a possible 5G variant as well.
