Microsoft has released the first update to their emulator for Windows Phone 7 about 10 days ago, which brought some small changes.  Hopes for any further major changes may be dashed by a look at the build information, which claims Windows Mobile 7.0 6176.WM7_RC1Escrow.

With the software being designated a Release Candidate, we can only expect some more polish at this point, but we are unlikely to see the addition of any major features until after the software reaches the market.
