Its the beginning of the month again and that means Comscore time.

The numbers, collated from regular surveys of more than 300,000 US mobile subscribers, continues to show a fading US presence for Microsoft mobile operating systems in US.

Windows Mobile + Windows Phone market share has continued to decrease, hitting 3.0% in November , down from 5.2% a year ago.

In absolute terms, this means 3.7 million subscribers out of the 123.3 million smartphone owners in USA, down 181,000 from last month.

With the numbers including 2-3 weeks of HTC 8X and Nokia Lumia 920 sales we do have to wonder if Windows Phone will ever get any real traction in USA.
