iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro demand is better than expected, Midnight Green color is selling out

Popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released a report over the weekend on the demand for the new iPhone 11 series. Apple starting taking pre-orders for the new iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max from Friday last week. According to Kuo, the demand for these devices are better than expected. He mentioned that iPhone 11 Pro models are popular in the US while the cheaper iPhone 11 model is popular in China.
Kuo also mentioned in his report that the new colors introduced by Apple is attracting customers. Especially, the midnight green iPhone 11 Pro is in strong demand. He warned that production problems of the glass for the midnight green phone may cause supply issues.
On a related note, TF International Securities increased its forecast of iPhone 11 series to 70-75 million units in 2019, up from 65-70 million units.
