Infinite Flight, the popular Flight Simulator for Windows Phone & iOS, has been updated to version 2.5 on Windows Phone !
Infinite Flight for Windows Phone & iOS is an app that runs on all Windows Phones (>256MB only), iPhone 4 & 4s, iPad 1 & 2 & 3 and iPod Touch 4th Generation. Priced at $4.99, it features multiple airplanes, realistic physics simulation, heads up display, autopilot, 3 regions with 200+ airports, configurable time & weather settings, tutorials, logbook and more.
This update brings one new airplane (P-38 Lightning), one new scenery (Oshkosh), Multi-touch support, more runway types, cockpit camera panning and some bug fixes.
The Oshkosh scenery was added to coincide with the 2012 EAA Airventure Oshkosh event happening this week in Wisconsin.
With Infinite Flight, pilots can practice their arrival procedure to the field or have fun doing airshow routines in the P-38 or the Spitfire in the sky above the Oshkosh airport.
Another big upgrade for this version is Multi-touch support, It was one of the most requested features on their feedback site (feedback.flyingdevstudio.com). Prior versions did have support for multi-touch in functions like Pinch-To-Zoom but lacked the ability to control the rudder and throttle at the same time. Infinite Flight 2.5 now enables this feature for all devices and platforms.
Changelog:
- Added Multi-touch support
- Added button to restore purchases in the settings page
- Added camera motion (panning + zoom) in Virtual Cockpit
- Added the P-38 Lighting with Virtual Cockpit (Free)
- Added new Oshkosh Scenery (Free)
- Added support for Runway Types (Asphalt, Concrete, Grass, Dirt)
Infinite Flight can be found in Marketplace here.
