Huawei is planning to launch a new flagship next week to take on Samsung’s triple smartphone. Called Huawei Mate 20 Pro, the device will feature a 3 camera on the back among other things.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro will feature a 6.39-inch OLED display. The device will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The display will have a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. On the top sits a 24-megapixel camera and also a Vertical Surface Emitting Laser (VSEL) module which would help in more efficient face recognition.
Moving on to the USP of the device, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is rumoured to come with 3 cameras which would include a 40 MP main camera, 20 MP camera equipped with Teleoptik and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. In addition to the camera, Huawei also plans to announce a new Wireless charging system. Called “high-speed” charging it offers the option of charging compatible devices, such as the Huawei Freebuds 2, wirelessly using the phone. The reverse wireless charging technique could, in theory, be used by the user to charge other smartphones wirelessly.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro is rumoured to cost 1,000 euros and will be available next week. The pre-order will begin after the launch with sales starting from 5th November.
