We already know that Microsoft has built a holographic TV studio in Redmond which has roughly 100 cameras capture a performance from many different angles. Their algorithms create a highly accurate 3-D model of the person performing, resulting in a photo-real appearance. Microsoft calls them video holograms. While video holograms are meant for watching the performances using HoloLens, they can be viewed on a tablet device like Surface. Watch the video above to know how it will work.
