HoloLens Meeting

At an event in Tel Avic, Bruce Harris from Microsoft spoke about Hololens. He spoke about its capabilities, battery life, narrow field of view and more. He also revealed that you may need a server in some cases for Holographic experiences. In one case, when you want to project a complex scene which HoloLens is not capable of rendering, you use a server for processing and push it to the HoloLens. In another case, multiple HoloLens devices can be linked together to share the same Holographic scene. For example, you create a Holographic scene, you can share it with others using a local server or using a cloud server. In this case, different people may have different perspectives of the same Holographic scene and their interactions might be different. The servers will take care of all these complex stuff so that you know where the other guy is and the other guy knows where you are to have a great Holographic experience.
