At an event in Tel Avic, Bruce Harris from Microsoft spoke about Hololens. He highlighted that HoloLens can work without connecting to any PC. It is totally independent and since it runs Windows 10, any universal Windows 10 app can run on it. He also revealed that HoloLens will offer 5.5 hours of battery life under normal use and 2.5 hours when running high CPU intensive tasks like rendering.
