Google Workspace Frontline gets New AI-Powered, Frontline Plus Edition with THESE features

On April 23, Google announced the expansion of its Workspace Frontline offering with a new edition — Frontline Plus. Designed for frontline workers, this enhanced plan brings together advanced AI features and enterprise-grade security tools, offering capabilities typically available in Google’s Enterprise Plus plan.

The Frontline Plus update introduces access to powerful AI tools like Gemini in Gmail, Chat, and Meet, AI classification in Drive, the Gemini app, and NotebookLM. These tools aim to help streamline workflows, enhance communication, and boost productivity for workers operating outside traditional office environments.

Security is a key focus. Features include client-side encryption, hosted S/MIME, Access Transparency, and Security Sandbox for scanning attachments. AI classification in Drive ensures sensitive content is properly labeled and protected. Additionally, users can choose specific enterprise data regions for data storage and processing.

In Gmail and Meet, AI-driven tools offer real-time support from writing assistance and smart replies to automatic meeting summaries and adaptive audio enhancements. Google Chat also benefits from language translation and AI-powered summaries.

Frontline Plus is not yet available for self-service purchase and requires eligibility verification. Google Workspace Frontline continues to protect data and empower teams with intelligent tools to improve workflow.
