Last year, Google announced the redesigned Gmail on the web with several new features. Google is now bringing this new Material themed look to Gmail on mobile, too. As part of the updated design, you can now view attachments without opening the conversation, you can easily switch between personal and work accounts, get bigger, bolder warnings for potentially risky emails and more.
Google will be rolling out the new mobile design in Gmail on Android and iOS in the coming weeks. Google will also bring Material design to more G Suite mobile apps later this year.
