Google has announced that it is expanding its Local Service Ads (LSA) program to the UK market for legal firms and estate agents, just three years after its initial rollout in Europe.

LSAs are a type of online advertising that allows businesses to appear at the top of Google search results pages when people search for local services.

“You can choose which geographic areas you want to advertise in — and even have your ads appear on certain days or times of the day,” says Google in the announcement.

With LSAs, businesses can choose to target their ads to specific geographic areas, days, and times. They can also set a fixed monthly budget and only pay for leads. LSAs also feature Google badges that can help businesses stand out from the competition and inspire confidence in potential customers.

Now, LSAs in Europe are available in countries like the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, and Austria, and support up to 70 types of business including healthcare, wellbeing, and education.

The tech giant promises to announce more countries in the future, but in the meantime, you can still sign up to get a Google Screened or Google Guaranteed badge.
