Google can now help you easily find key moments in videos

Google today announced a new search feature that will allow you to easily find key moments in videos. When you search for a how-to video involving multiple steps, or long videos like speeches, Google search will now offers links to key moments within the video, based on timestamps provided by people who uploaded the video. With this feature, you can easily find the relevant section of the content you are interested in, instead of watching the whole video from the start.

For now, these links to key moments will appear English YouTube videos which has timestamp information in the video description. Google is also announcing a new way for content creators across the web to mark up their videos so they can be more easily searchable.
