Godfall PS5 exclusivity

The Gearbox Software published looter slasher Godfall was the first PlayStation 5 exclusive games to be announced. However, Godfall PS5 exclusivity may not be such a sweet deal for PlayStation gamers after all.

While Sony has garnered some pretty awesome timed exclusives over the year – such as the one year exclusivity for Final Fantasy 7 Remake – Godfall PS5 exclusivity might not last as long as fans believe.

Revealed during the upcoming game’s launch trailer on YouTube, it was explained that the game’s exclusivity window is just a six month deal between Sony and Gearbox.

At the end of the trailer, the words “Godfall PlayStation 5 console exclusive” are shown with a big asterisk at the end. Following that asterisk shows that the game will not be available “on other consoles until at least 5/12/21”, aka May 12th, 2021.
