GobbleBox is a NEW, geo-social messaging platform. Communicate with people near you, no followers needed! Send remote messages by moving your map marker! The Windows Phone version of the app has just been released and is now available on the Windows Phone Store for FREE.

Ever wanted to just converse with people near you because you’re both at a concert or in the same college? Maybe you’re in a mall and want to let people know of a great deal. Sure, you could use other social media apps, but only your followers would see your message, and they might not be where you are anyway. GobbleBox introduces the concept of sending messages to locations instead of followers. Now you can post something and everyone in the same area (the GobbleBox) will see your message and can reply to you.GobbleBox Windows Phone QR Code

What’s even cooler is you can move the GobbleBox so that you can post and read messages somewhere else! Maybe you live in the USA and want to meet people in India. Move your Map Marker to New Delhi and gobble away!

How Does It Work?
A GobbleBox is an area of the map that can vary in size and lets you pick where to read from. By default, you can read messages (gobbles) and write to your current location. Send a message to other locations by going to the Map screen and picking a different location.  You can also change your GobbleBox size and save your favorite locations right from the Map screen.

We are constantly working on improvements on the app. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let us know! Send a gobble to Reston, VA USA and we’ll take it from there!

Happy Gobbling!

Download it from here on the Windows Phone Store.
