Gigabyte today revealed GeForce GTX 1080 Mini ITX 8G, world’s smallest GTX 1080 graphics card. Embedded with powerful NVIDIA’s Pascal-based Geforce GTX 1080 in an extremely compact graphics card, 17cm length GTX 1080 mini ITX is capable to fit into any small chassis without compromising on performance.

To accommodate GTX 1080 in such short space, GIGABYTE custom-designed the cooling system that features a 90mm fan, 3 pure copper composite heat-pipes, unique blade fan design and heat pipes direct touch technology. Together, they deliver an effective heat dissipation capacity for higher performance at lower temperatures.

  • Unique Blade Fan Design: The airflow is spilt by the triangle fan edge, and guided smoothly through the 3D stripe curve on the fan surface, effectively enhancing the air flow by 23% over traditional fans
  • 3D Active Fan: The semi-passive fans will remain off when the GPU is under a set loading or temperature for low power gaming. It allows gamers to enjoy gameplay in complete silence when the system is running light or idle.
  • Composite heat-pipes: The composite heat-pipes combines both thermal conductivity and phase transition for efficiently managing the transfer of heat between two solid interfaces which increases 29% of cooling capacity.
  • Heat Pipe Direct Touch: The pure copper heat pipes are shaped to maximize the direct contact area to the GPU.

Gamers can also overclock their card up to 1632MHz and 1771MHz with a simple click on AORUS Graphics Engine. Gigabyte didn’t announce any details on pricing and availability of this product.
