Microsoft recently introduced support for GIF animations in the photo gallery and other applications on Windows 10 Mobile, but this was reserved for 1 GB RAM handsets.
We now have reports that even 512 MB devices will support the technology, which has surprisingly become even more popular with Facebook and Twitter now both displaying it natively.
