Test your video game knowledge in this game show-like app packed full of video game trivia.

Overall Score: 3/5

While this game does have some neat video game questions, its presentation and lasting value could have been far better.

Gameplay: 4/5

The amount of questions (600) and the variety is pretty great. The three included hints are also really useful and they imitate real game shows like with the poll the audience hint. You truly have to know all video game information across multiple decades of time, and across multiple gaming platforms. The questions you are asked are interesting and challenging.

Presentation: 2/5

The game looks very basic visually, and completely lacks sound effects. The developer could have attempted to create an atmosphere realistic game show had he included the typical game show sound effects and audience applause, but instead the experience is silent. The visuals could have also benefited from fancy spotlights and cinematics, but they are similarly very basic. The one thing the game does really well is resume speeds; it’s practically instant at resuming, as fast as native Windows Phone screens appear!

Lasting Value: 2/5

Sure there are a lot of questions, but when the high scores don’t let you set your name on them, it becomes impossible for you to track your score. Also, the game could really benefit from an online leaderboard. And an option to play with a question pack that ranges from year 2000 and on would be fantastic, since some people won’t know the older game information because they weren’t alive back then!
