Numerix is a great math game that will keep your addition skills sharp while your other math skills dwindle during the summer.

Overall Score: 4/5

The gameplay, visuals, and lasting value are all pretty good! Download this free game if you enjoy working with numbers!

Gameplay: 4/5

Even though the goal of the game sounds way too easy: Find the number, starting from 1 and counting up to infinity; the game quickly becomes very challenging. Once you get to the double digit numbers, you have to start adding adjacent numbers together. To add numbers together, you simply draw a line over them. These controls work perfectly. There’s also a Sprint mode where you have to try to reach number 40 as quickly as possible. It’s a fun way to keep your addition skills sharp!

Presentation: 4/5

The visuals are admittedly basic, but the animations of the new number tiles falling down are smooth and fluid, the game loads fast, and it has auditory sound effect clues telling you when you got a combination correct, so it turns out to be good presentation wise!

Lasting Value: 3/5

You could play this forever and ever, and the daily/all time leaderboards help with that, but realistically you probably won’t get too many hours out of this. The Sprint mode is another good addition, but unless you’re a total math geek, you might get bored of this ๐Ÿ˜›
