Duke Nukem 3D has been lovingly recreated within the fully 3D world of Serious Sam 3 in one of the best fan mods we’ve seen in years.

Dubbed Serious Duke 3D, this from-the-ground-up remake fully converts the first episode of The King’s three-dimensional adventure into the Serious Sam 3 engine.

Described as a “redesigned and expanded” version of Duke 3D, Serious Duke brings in new “level areas, occasional enemy waves / arena fights and new weapons”. Created by modders Syndroid and NSKuber, this impressive creation is available for free.

If you want to play Serious Duke 3D, you’ll need to install both Serious Sam 3 and Serious Sam Fusion. With both of them ready, you’ll even be able to play the game through Stream VR!
