The Windows Dev Center dashboard allows developers to manage and submit all of their apps for Windows devices in one place. Microsoft today announced updates to analytic reports available in Windows Dev Center.

First, Microsoft is bringing near real time health reporting that will help developers to quickly fix stability issues in their apps. The Health report’s 72H view in Dev Center now shows data for crashes, hangs, memory failures and JavaScript exceptions within minutes of those events. Previously, this data was available only after several hours. Developers who are part of the Dev Center Insider Program can now try out this capability. Microsoft mentioned that they will bring this feature to all Dev Center users soon.

Second, Microsoft is introducing a new feature called Review insights in Review Reports. Review insights uses machine learning to classify new app reviews, even non-English reviews, into one of 12 pre-defined categories. This will help developers to quickly understand customer sentiment by filtering their app’s reviews by category. Developers can also make use of additional filters, such as OS version or rating to further isolate issues.

Developers can learn more about Health report and Reviews report here and here.
