In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Minecraft is pulling out all the stops. In this case, Minecraft is up to 50% off on Windows 10, Java, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch!

As Minecraft Content Team Manager Mark Watson said in his tweet, it’s rare that Minecraft gets discounted, so you should take advantage of this deal while you can.

That’s not all, though. All the merchandise at the Minecraft store is also on sale, with up to 25% off! Go on, get that giant Creeper plush you’ve always wanted. You deserve it. You can browse the Minecraft store here.

In other Minecraft anniversary news, Microsoft have released Minecraft Classic, which runs right in your browser. It contains everything from just 32 blocks to all the original Minecraft bugs, so you can feel like you’re back in 2009 again.

You can play Minecraft Classic by clicking here. No downloads or installation required. Just your browser window and a whole lot of patience for those 32 blocks.

Microsoft have also appeared to tease a Minecraft AR mobile game, with a teaser trailer released during the Microsoft Build 2019 keynote. You can watch the teaser below.

We’ll get more information about this potential Minecraft mobile game on May 17th. May 17th is also the 10th anniversary of Minecraft, so get building a cake out of blocks!
