Tinder is now looking forward to expanding its business in the Southeast Asia region and India. One of the things that the popular dating app is considering doing so as to crack these emerging markets is bringing a lightweight Tinder Lite app. As we already know already, a Lite version requires less internal memory on your phone, and most importantly, less bandwidth.

“Tinder Lite will be a smaller app to download. It will take less space on your phone, making Tinder more effective, even in more remote areas or regions. And keep in mind, these are regions where data usage still comes at a premium,” explained Match Group(Tinder’s parent company) CEO Mandy Ginsberg.

Tinder will be joining Twitter, Facebook, Matchpub app, and many others who developed a lightweight app for their respective platforms.

CEO Mandy Ginsberg didn’t discuss the new development in detail, as a result of which we didn’t get know much, but what we do know is the release date. Although the company didn’t mention any particular date, it said that it will bring the mini-Tinder or Tinder Lite whatever you call, before the end of this year.
