Microsoft released the latest and greatest version of Windows 10 on April 11. The latest update, titled the Creators Update, is still rolling out to Windows 10 devices across the world. As per usual, Redmond released ISOs for the latest update which allowed users to manually install the update. Unfortunately, Apple Mac users who were hoping to install the latest version of Windows 10 on their Mac via Bootcamp were a bit disappointed — that’s because the latest version of Windows 10 wasn’t supported by Bootcamp…until today.

Apple today released a new update to users running macOS Sierra that brings support for the Windows 10 Creators Update to Bootcamp. On the official release notes for the macOS Sierra 10.12.5 update, Apple mentioned:

Adds support for media-free installation of Windows 10 Creators Update using Boot Camp.

If you own a Mac and want to give it a try, you’ll need to update to macOS Sierra 10.12.5 and then download the ISO for the Windows 10 Creators Update from here. And if you aren’t familiar with the Windows 10 Creators Update, you can check out our mini-review of the update here, and the in-depth review here.
