Xbox Live Gold members can now download Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for free through the Games with Gold program. Each month four games are discounted across Xbox One and Xbox 360 and May begins by bringing us a brand new game and a few classics. You can download Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia on Xbox One while Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed can be downloaded for the Xbox 360, though it can still be played on an Xbox One because it is backward compatible.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia was the last in the trilogy to release for Xbox One—with China and India preceding it—so it seems fitting that it’s the last out of the three to also become free with Gold (Chronicles: China was free in September 2016 and India was free recently this February). Chronicles: Russia is a 2.5D sidescrolling platformer spin-off from the main Assassin’s Creed games. It stars Russian assassin Nikolai Orelov who goes on one last mission to steal a secret artifact from the Bolsheviks in the aftermath of the October Revolution in 1918. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is a kart racing game starring your favorite SEGA characters, including several from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia is available for free the entire month until June 30 on Xbox One. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, on the other hand, will only be free until June 15.

If you have a Gold membership, be sure to check out these games. You can’t go wrong when they’re free. And you might discover a game you like that you would have otherwise passed on.
