Argos UK and Ireland start selling low cost Windows Phones and tablets

Major catalogue retailer Argos has started selling low cost smartphones and tablets by UK OEM Bush.

The Bush Sim Free Mobile phone is a WVGA Windows Phone 8.1 handset with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (presumably the 200 variety) with 512 MB RAM, 4 Gb storage which can be expanded up to 64 GB, rear and front-facing camera, WIFI and 3G, and 540 min talk time, 34 h standby time.

The handset costs £69.95 in UK and 89,95 Euro in Ireland.

Argos is also selling an 8 inch Windows 8.1 tablet for £129.99 that runs on a Intel Baytrail processor, has a 1280×800 pixel screen, 16 GB of storage and one USB port. The tablet claims 6 hours battery life, is 8.6 mm thin and weighs less than a pound at 330g.
