Apple announces new "Apple Digital Masters" program for music

Apple has a program called Mastered for iTunes through which Apple delivers music to consumers as the artists and sound engineers intend it to be heard. Through this program, Apple also offered tools necessary to create the highest-quality masters for iTunes and the music created through this program were highlighted in iTunes.

Apple today announced the launch of Apple Digital Masters, a new program that combines all of its “Mastered for iTunes” catalog. According to Apple, the majority of top releases on Apple Music currently are Apple Digital Masters, with about 75% of of the Top 100 in the U.S. and 71% of the Top 100 globally created under the program. When you look for music in Apple Music app, check for Apple Digital Masters label to enjoy high fidelity music.
