We have already seen what Apple has to offer this year and with the year coming to an end, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo opened up about the possible roadmap for Apple in the coming year.
According to a report published by a Chinese website, Kuo expects Apple to release Phone SE 2 and new iPad Pro models in the first quarter of 2020. Apple will also be releasing AR devices in the second quarter of 2020. To promote the use of AR, Apple’s upcoming iPads will include a 3D time-of-flight sensor. The TOF sensor has been popular in 2019 and we expect to see more manufacturers add the feature in the future.
Kuo also noted that Apple will be releasing the new MacBooks with a scissor-switch keyboard in Q2 of 2020. While Kuo didn’t specify the model, 9to5Mac believes that it could the rumoured 16-inch MacBook Pro. They also noted that Ming-Chi Kuo is usually specific about the devices so he could be referring to an entirely different line of MacBooks that will launch in 2020.
