Amazon is killing its Windows Phone app on July 25. The company recently pulled the app from the Windows Store search results, and it wasn’t installable recently. The company announced the app’s retirement in the app, stating:

The Windows Phone App will be retired on July 25, 2016. Please visit our website.

This suggests that the app will no longer be usable after July 25. Amazon recommends users to use its website, which is exactly what PayPal recommended after removing its Windows Phone app recently.

It isn’t yet clear if Amazon will release a Windows 10 app, in case you are wondering.
