Are you looking for a detailed AgentGPT review to help you understand if the tool is worth a subscription? You just clicked on the right button.
In this piece, I’ll explain what AgentGPT is, its features, pricing, how to use it, and give my final verdict.
Letโs get started.
What Is AgentGPT?
AgentGPT is an innovative AI platform that empowers users to configure and deploy autonomous AI agents directly in their web browser. It eliminates the need for any coding experience.
It takes a prompt and breaks it into smaller tasks. Then, it tackles each section one by one to get it done. Its main skill is chatting like a real person in a normal conversation.
Features
AgentGPT presents a range of valuable features. Iโve used the tool for over a month now and identified the following key functionalities:
Pre-designed Templates
AgentGPT allows users to pick any ready-made design to start solving different tasks. This feature saves time since you only need to tap on the one that fits your needs.
However, youโll need to adjust the prompt if it doesnโt blend well with your preferred routine. For example, I tapped on the Fitness template and it generated a 4-week workout regime while I needed a 6-week session.
Compatibility
AgentGPT is designed for web browsers, making it highly versatile and accessible to users across different platforms. However, it doesn’t support apps, unlike Auto-GPT and ChatGPT.
Customization
You can personalize your content by adding a name and defining your goal in detail to achieve your desired results. You can also create images with the free trial, unlike ChatGPT which can only generate images using premium versions.
Plugin Integration
AgentGPT lets you enjoy plugins even during the free trial, although there are limitations on their use. This sets it apart from other alternatives like ChatGPT, which doesn’t allow plugins for the free version.ย
They enhance the functionality of AgentGPT with additional features and customization options. Although the free trial allows users to test the tools, they’re limited to encourage them to upgrade.
How To Use AgentGPT
Now, let me show you how to use it. Follow the steps below:
- Go to the AgentGPT home page and tap Sign in.ย
- You can sign in using your Google account, GitHub, or Discord. Iโll use a Google account for this demonstration.
- If you’ve more than one Gmail account signed in, pick one and tap Continue.
- Your free account is ready.
- If you want a premium account, tap the Subscribe button.
- Pick a plan that you’re comfortable with.
- If you need the Pro version, add your billing details to continue.
- You’ve now created your account. To use it, add an agent name and the goal then tap the Play button.
- The process begins by identifying the tasks and adding them to the queue. Afterward, it generates responses to the tasks one by one in the order they were queued.
- Once you achieve the desired outcome, tap on the Save button in the top right corner of your display. It allows you to copy the content, and save it as an image, or as a PDF.
So, how much does the tool cost?
Pricing
You canโt enjoy advanced AgentGPT features without subscribing to its plans.
Below are the prices:
- Free Trial – $0 per month
- Pro – $40 per month
- Enterprise – Custom.
The free trial will give you a small taste of what AgentGPT offers. For this plan, you donโt need to provide your billing information but it’ll restrict your usage. It limits plugin integrations and web search capabilities. Also, it only allows 5 demo agents per day, running GPT 3.5 – Turbo.
To run more than 5 agents daily, youโll have to subscribe to the Pro plan which is still limited to 30 agents. The Pro version also runs GPT-4 with unlimited web search capabilities and access to the latest AgentGPT plugins.
The Enterprise plan offers everything in the Pro version and a dedicated account manager. Additionally, it supports features that cater to businesses’ specific needs and demands.
AgentGPT Review – Verdict
Overall, AgentGPT has a blend of good and bad features. The free trial version limits usage and plugin integrations. Also, its Pro subscription is expensive considering it still limits you to 30 agents daily, unlike ChatGPT which offers unlimited usage at half the price.
What I like about this tool the most is that it doesnโt require coding experience to use. Also, I could create images with the free trial version.
Hopefully, this AgentGPT review has covered all you wanted to know about the app.
