The Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei is perhaps the worst affected company by the US-China trade war. The US government just ended up imposing a complete ban on Huawei in the US. Consequently, all American tech giants including Google cut all ties with the Chinese telecommunication giant. Worse, Huawei also lost its ARM license, which casts serious doubts on its future smartphones plans.

Needless to say, the company will look for an alternative, in fact, this is what they are doing or at least considering taking the baby steps towards that. According to a report from DigiTimes, the company is now looking forward to purchasing more and more memory chips from its Japan- and South Korea-based suppliers. The company, however, avoids terming it as a knee-jerk response.
