Samsung AI

Five months after revealing Galaxy AI, Samsung is taking another step towards AI-powered wellness by integrating it into its upcoming Galaxy Watch lineup. This follows the introduction of Galaxy AI on the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year.

Galaxy AI will work in tandem with the Samsung Health app to offer features like Energy Score, which analyzes various metrics like sleep patterns and activity levels to understand your overall daily condition. Wellness Tips will use AI to provide personalized recommendations based on your specific health goals.

Sleep tracking is getting a big upgrade with the Sleep AI algorithm. This new iteration will provide an analysis of your sleep quality by tracking metrics like sleep latency, movement during sleep, and respiratory rate alongside existing features like blood oxygen level and sleep cycle tracking.

There’s also the new Personalized Health Rate Zone with five running intensity levels.

But that’s not all. The new Workout Routine allows users to combine various exercises for a personalized workout plan with transitions between exercises. Runners and cyclists will now have the Race feature, which compares performance on the same routes over time.

By expanding the power of Galaxy AI across our ecosystem, we’re looking to open up all new possibilities with optimized and connected experiences that offer users greater personalization and intelligence. The introduction of Galaxy AI to Galaxy Watch is just the beginning of this process and we’re excited to showcase even more integrations across our Galaxy portfolio very soon.

said Junho Park, VP and Head of the Galaxy Ecosystem Product Planning Team, MX Business at Samsung Electronics.

These features will be available later this year on the new Galaxy Watch lineup with One UI 6 Watch. A limited number of Galaxy Watch users can get early access through a beta program starting in June.
