Last month, Adobe announced the availability of new Photoshop app for Apple iPad. This version 1.0 build of Photoshop for iPad supports top workflows, compositing, masking and retouching. Adobe said that it will add more capabilities and workflows. Following the criticism from some users, Adobe later provided alist of features that are coming next to Photoshop in 2020. Today, Adobe released a new update for Photoshop app on the iPad which includes two new features.

First, the new Select Subject which uses the Adobe Sensei AI machine learning technology enables you to automatically select the subject of an image to speed up complex selections. With cloud documents support, you can make a selection on the desktop or the iPad and continue the editing process on Photoshop on another device.

Second, Adobe has rolled out major performance improvements to the upload and download experience of cloud documents. Adobe claims that you can experience up to 90% faster uploads and downloads with these improvements.

This update also includes few UI tweaks, some usability improvements related to layer and layer adjustment controls and text entry and bug fixes.
