Germany, 24th July

AdDuplex has posted their monthly look at the Windows Phone market, and reports that Microsoft’s new low-end hero is off to a good start.

2 months after release the Nokia Lumia 630 is now the 13th most popular Windows Phone globally, moving up from the 20th position last month, while the 635 moved from position 31 to 27.

While globally the handset is still less than 3.5% of the market, in individual countries the handset is doing a lot better.

In USA the USA the 630 is now 2.1% of the market.

In Russia the 630 is ranked 10th with 3.5% of the market, while in India it debuted in position 7 with 3.7% of the market.

In Germany it is also 7th with a massive 4.8%, while the 930 is in position 16.

Windows Phone 8.1 is now 11.9% of the market, and Nokia Lumia owns 94.% of the market.

AdDuplex also confirms the reports of the LG D635, which looks like a mid-range phone with 720p, 5” screen and the HTC HTC6995LVW which is likely the rumoured HTC One (M8) variant with Windows Phone 8.1 with a 1080p 5” screen which appears to be a Verizon exclusive model number with no global variant spotted yet.

They also report on the NOKIA RM-1038/RM-1039 which is a 720p 4.7” phone (Lumia 730?) which we have seen in quite a few places around the globe, including AT&T in the US.   The Nokia Lumia 730 is rumoured to have a megapixel selfie camera and be code-named the Nokia Superman.
