Acer’s Liquid Jade Primo drops to £199 on the Microsoft UK Store

HP’s Elite x3 may be the continuum handset to beat tight now, but Acer’s Jade Primo suddenly just got a whole lot more compelling if the Microsoft Store  pricing is currently being honored.

On the UK Microsoft Store, the Windows 10 flagship is now being sold for considerably less than the £449 it commands on Acer’s online store, clocking in at a respectably cheap £199.

For that price, you’re getting a whole lot of phone. You’ll be getting a 5.5 inch 1080p AMOLED screen. Now, while that’ s not as good as the Lumia 950 is – at least on paper – it’s worth noting that 5.5-inch 1080p screens can still be very good – even the iPhone plus models use them. It also comes with a snapdragon 808 processor and 3 GB of RAM, which means it can handle continuum fairly decently as well as mundane day to day tasks. 32GB of internal storage ~(expandable via Micro SD)and a 21MP camera round out the specs of this upper mid-range business focused device.

As the device normally costs far more than Microsoft is asking for, this price drop is certainly unusual, and with no sales price cut notification on the notoriously expensive Microsoft store page, it’s hard to know whether this is an accident or a deliberate change. Nevertheless, you can give it a try and see if you’ll be able to snag one for that low price.
