Two of today’s newly announced Facebook apps are now available to download from the Windows Store.

Facebook 4.0 for Windows (windows phone version coming later this year) features:

  • Your friends are always at your side with Snap View, even when you’re using other apps
  • See what your friends are up to
  • Get updates in Live Tiles on your Start screen
  • Get notified when friends like and comment on your posts
  • Share updates and photos
  • Chat and have group conversations

Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile lets you:

  • Edit photos and videos with free, custom-designed filters.
  • Improve photos with 10 advanced creative tools to change brightness, contrast and saturation as well as shadows, highlights and perspective.
  • Find people to follow based on the accounts and photos you already love.
  • Connect with Instagrammers all over the world and keep up with their photos and videos.
  • Send private photo and video messages directly to friends.
