This past June, Microsoft introduced the Minecraft Marketplace–a program which enables Minecraft community members to earn a living by releasing in-game content alongside our own first-party content in the Minecraft Store. Since then, our community partners have earned more than $1 million collectively by selling their own adventures, worlds, texture packs, character skins, and more!

Minecraft has some amazing Marketplace partners, and they’re continually bringing new people on board. Microsoft started the program with 9 individuals back in June, and since then have expanded the partner roster to 12, with plans to keep adding more partners. The program offers our players a wide variety of community-created content that they can safely and easily access, while also allowing the community to support one another’s work and allow creators the chance to turn their creativity into a way to make a living!
