Today, along with the new ThinkPad P1, Lenovo also introduced the new ThinkPad P72. The ThinkPad P72 is targeted towards professionals who need workstation-class performance from a portable device that can replace a desktop.

It comes with a 17-inch chassis powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Xeon and Core processors, and the NVIDIA Quadro graphics (up to P5200). You can also have up to 6TB of storage, 128GB of memory and 16GB of Intel Optane memory for your storage and performance needs. The ThinkPad P72 has been rigorously tested to MIL-SPEC standards, so it is suitable for tough environments. The Windows Hello infrared camera allows you to log in to your ThinkPad P72 with your face. In addition to facial recognition, Lenovo has also included a match-on-chip fingerprint reader, providing you with the most secure fingerprint technology on a PC. It comes with dual Thunderbolt 3 ports for your connectivity needs.

The ThinkPad P72 will be available at the end of August starting at $1799.
