Google debuted a live tv streaming service, YouTube TV.

The firm came with support for iOS, Android apps, Apple TV and Roku and oddly enough, a Chrome-only web app.

This meant that any users who had chosen to shell out the $40 a month asking price were automatically directed to Google’s browser, whether they preferred another one.

Now, Google has done some work on the back-end so it now supports Mozilla’s Firefox as well. The firm still hasn’t extended support to more browsers like Firefox and Edge, but we assume those will be coming as a matter of course.

The web-app is unfortunately not yet available in Microsoft Edge at this point.
