Yes Bank partners with Microsoft to develop advanced banking chatbot

YES ROBOT is a personal banking chat assistant from Yes Bank. You can chat with YES ROBOT to check your bank balance, recent transactions, send money, recharge your phone, pay your bills, book FD/RD, check loan eligibility, manage credit card, hotlist debit card and apply for 25+YES BANK products and services. With the new Microsoft partnership, Yes Bank will take advantage of advanced NLP engine LUIS and other cognitive Azure services to make YES ROBOT even more powerful. YES ROBOT will be able to understand more natural conversations of customers and can answer more of them with extensive financial knowledge. YES Bank mentioned that YES ROBOT will now support over 65 banking products, up from previous 25+.

Recognizing that chatbots would be game changers in the industry, providing major competitive advantage to banks, we had started working on automating several processes and service touch points through Bots as early as 2016. The reinvigoration of YES ROBOT in-house, using Microsoft’s cognitive services, aims to further enhance customer service by personalizing interactions and reducing the time-of-first response to just a few seconds,” said Ritesh Pai, Chief Digital Officer, YES BANK.
