Netflix and YouTube received server-side updates today which add some unique features. As we all know, YouTube’s application on the Xbox One is rather terrible. One of the biggest issues was the oddly-designed search menu. Luckily, as the screenshot shows above, it’s now much clearer and provides better suggestions. There are a few other options in the menu too which you can take a look at.

Netflix has probably received a more substantial improvement. Remember how annoying it is to skip the opening credits or the recaps? Well, Netflix now allows you to do that. Whenever there’s a recap or an extended opening scene, the program gives you the option to skip it as seen above. This is definitely great news for people like me who absolutely hate fast forwarding using a controller.
