Orc Must Die! Deathtrap

Xbox Game Pass is adding yet another indie title to its long-lasting catalog.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, which had just been launched recently, is now available on Xbox Game Pass Standard, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass. The third person combat title is now playable on Xbox Series X/S and Cloud Gaming (only if you have the Ultimate or PC Game Pass tiers, for the latter).

“Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap combines chaotic third-person combat with a devious trap-laying strategy. Enjoy endless replayability as your War Mage grows stronger with every battle. Repel relentless orc hordes solo or with up to 4 players,” the game’s description reads.

Developed by Robot Entertainment, an indie studio out of Texas, Orc Must Die! Deathtrap is a fun action-tower defense with elements of rogue-lite structure. It shines well in co-op play, and has really fun selection of unique characters with each choice of map greatly impacting your gameplay, which gave them a 7 star out of 10 from IGN Review.

Xbox Game Pass subscription service is a friend of indie developers, with many indie titles coming out recently thanks to its affordable prices. As of now, you can even try the Game Pass Ultimate (its priciest, most premium tier of them all) for as low as $1 for 14 days of trial.

Among Us is also one of the indie titles that shine in the subscription service, besides Limbo, Lies of P, Mount & Blade II Bannerlord, Overcooked! 2, and previously-released Orc Must Die! 3.
