Word Mobile updated with new Drawing tool, People app with History tab

Microsoft has pushed out an update to the Word Mobile app for Windows and Windows Mobile.

The update takes the app to version 17.6741.47691.0 and brings two new features.


The first is a drawing tool (seen above) which lets users annotate and draw over their documents using a pen or highlighter.

The second is the ability to Pin Files to Start, a feature which recently also came to PowerPoint and Excel.


Microsoft has also updated the desktop version of the People app to version 10.0.10500.0 with the new History tab which recently came to the Mobile version of the app. It does not appear yet that the history is synced between Windows and Windows Mobile at present.
