Wire, a popular chat app is now available on Windows. The company was founded by Jonathan Christensen, Alan Duric and Priidu Zilmer in 2012, and the service is available on Android, OS X, and iOS, too. When it comes to the design, Wire looks really beautiful. The app also offers some nice features such as:
- End-to-end encrypted HD calls – in stereo with groups
- Beautiful conversations with high-resolution photos and GIFs
- YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud and Vimeo content right inside the chats
- Group chats with up to 128 people
For those wondering, the company isn’t working on a Windows 10 app yet – however, they are keeping a “keen eye” on the market share:
@Mkeallison No immediate plans but we're keeping a keen eye on Win 10 market share.
