By various means, we all now know that Microsoft will release Windows Technical Preview, the preview of upcoming version of Windows on Tuesday. It seems Microsoft has started testing websites related to this release in the past 12 hours and it was exposed to public as well. In the Windows Technical Preview download page on TechNet Evaluation Center, Microsoft posted download and install instructions.
- As usual, Microsoft will provide ISOs to download which you can use to install it on your system.
- Once you have installed Windows Technical Preview on your system, you can’t go back to your previous version easily. You need to have the recovery or installation media that came with your PC or you need to create one.
- Another important thing to note is that you won’t be able to use recovery partition on your PC to go back to previous version of Windows.
Neowin noted that the 64bit version of the OS weighs in around 4GB while the 32bit version is a little bit over the 3GB mark.
