For the last two weeks many websites reported about the 40,000 apps in Windows Phone marketplace. Those app numbers included apps from different marketplaces around the world. Now US Windows Phone marketplace alone has more than 40,000 apps. With developer support for Windows Phone platform growing at rapid pace, the number would go up soon.
