baubleApp.com have launched a new hybrid product/app platform featuring personal products, including jewelry and accessories, embedded with NFC (Near Field Communication) tags that lead to mobile companion apps.

With the increasing number of NFC enabled devices in the market, unfortunately, there are few opportunities to use NFC for the average consumer.

Windows Phone owners don’t even see “NFC” in their Settings – But TAP AND SEND activates NFC for many applications that range beyond file sharing…including launching mobile web apps from baubleApp.

The baubleApp recipe is to create, partner and license properties that are a natural for personal products that are enhanced through mobile apps, with an early focus on scheduled audio messages.

First up?

It’s “fairyHeart” – A Toothfairy necklace that when tapped leads to a daily greeting from the Toothfairy. With children in the U.S. losing 80 million teeth a year, this seemed like a natural product to deliver daily messages.

Pending announcements include fan merchandise with real-time updates throughout the professional football season and a line of Holiday themed products for Q4 2013.
