NetApplications data for July 2014 shows a significant boost in Windows Phone usage in July 2014, with the combined total for WP7.5, 8 and 8.1 coming to 2.48% of all mobile usage, up from 1.99% in June 2014 and 1.14% in July 2013.

The number exceeds the usage of all of Kindle Fire, the iPod Touch, the Nook, Galaxy tab, many less popular older versions of Android and all of Blackberry.

That stats gives Windows Phone 3.2% mobile usage share of their website in July. While not a massive number, it is certainly not so small to be trivially ignored, and NetApplication’s numbers certainly suggest this will only be growing.
