Microsoft today released a new update for Windows Device Recovery Tool. The update, version 3.6.39 is mostly for users who own an Acer device. With the latest update, Microsoft has added support for Acer devices to the Windows Device Recovery Tool. Alongside support for Acer devices, the update also brings minor UI improvements and other bug fixes:
- Support added for Acer Inc (Note: Acer JADE Primo is not supported in a SuperSpeed port and only supported on USB 2.0 port.)
- Minor UI enhancements and other minor bug fixes
For those unfamiliar with the Windows Device Recovery Tool, it’s a tool that allows users to hard reset their Windows Phone and recover their device in some cases.
