Windows November Market Share

According to the recent numbers from NetMarketShare, Windows 8.1 OS market share continues to grow worldwide. Windows 7 continues to dominate at the top with the OS now over 53.71% marketshare, up from 53.05 percent in October. Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 combined is now at 18.65% up from 16.70% last month. Windows XP saw a huge decrease to 13.57% down from 17.18% last month. Mac OSX continues to grow which now holds about 7.27% share, while Linux holds a 1.41% share.

Microsoft is planning to release Windows 10 to general consumers in the second half of next year.
